India’s AZB & Partners has hired banking specialist Gautam Ganjawala as a partner in Mumbai from Wadia Ghandy & Co, where he spent nearly 14 years.

Joining Ganjawala from Wadia Ghandy are senior associates Karthik Mudaliar and Bhargavy Ramesh.

With the inclusion of Ganjawala, AZB’s Mumbai office now has 47 partners. The office has been hiring steadily in recently months, including partners Bharat Budholia and Nikunj Maheshwari, the latter also a banking lawyer.
