Darshan Upadhyay, Shyam Pandya, Amit Manubarwala and Bhavin Gada, erstwhile private equity partners at Indian firm Economic Laws Practice, have left to set up a boutique firm in Mumbai.

Stratage Law Partners will focus on private equity, venture capital, banking and finance, insolvency, M&A, litigation and arbitration, corporate governance, and private client work.

The firm has 11 fee-earners, including the four partners. Upadhyay will act as the managing partner.
