Singapore Big Four firm Rajah & Tann has hired private-wealth specialist Craig Paynter as a partner from offshore law firm Bedell Cristin, where he was senior associate.

Paynter specialises in private wealth trust and multi-jurisdictional estate planning  advising Southeast Asian high-net-worth individuals, families, and corporations.

Having started his career with Ogier, Paynter spent three years at Gowling WLG before moving to Bedell in February 2018.

Global law firm Morrison Foerster has announced that private equity veteran Scott Jalowayski will rejoin the firm as a partner in Singapore. Jalowayski most recently co-chaired the global private equity group at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
