Bird & Bird has hired Lijun Chui as a partner in its dispute resolution practice in Singapore from Clifford Chance, where she spearheaded that firm’s local technology disputes and regulatory practice.

This is Bird & Bird’s second technology-focused hire in six months, after it brought on board Jeremy Tan from CMS’ Formal Law Alliance firm, Holborn Law, in March. Tan was the technology and communications practice head at Holborn.

Chui specialises in commercial dispute resolution and contentious regulatory and investigation matters. She advises on international and domestic arbitrations involving the technology, banking, construction, shipping, oil and gas sectors.

Chui’s appointment has taken the number of Bird & Bird partners in Singapore to 13.
