India’s L&L Partners has welcomed back Shonali Choudhry as a partner in the firm’s Mumbai office from Advani & Co., where she was a consultant.

Choudhry specialises in mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure & project finance and private equity as well as in arbitration and environmental matters.

Choudhry first joined L&L Partners (then known as Luthra & Luthra Law Offices) as a senior associate in 2006. After leaving the firm, she spent more than six years in-house, at Larsen & Toubro and Trimex International.

Choudhry’s hire comes at a time when L&L’s equity partners, Rajiv Luthra and Mohit Saraf, are embroiled in a public spat over the dilution of the firm’s equity.
