Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) has grown its real estate offering in Hong Kong with the hire of Wayne Ma as a partner from DLA Piper.

Ma, who had been a partner at DLA Piper’s Shanghai office since 2016, advises on real estate transactions including acquisitions and dispositions of various types of property, joint ventures and private equity.

BCLP was named the Hong Kong Real Estate Law Firm of the Year at the ALB Hong Kong Law Awards 2020. With Ma’s arrival, the office has five partners.

Global law firm Morrison Foerster has announced that private equity veteran Scott Jalowayski will rejoin the firm as a partner in Singapore. Jalowayski most recently co-chaired the global private equity group at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
