Priya Rao, a former partner at India’s K&S Partners, has set up a boutique firm called Priya Rao & Associates in Delhi. The two-partner firm will focus on intellectual property, information technology and litigation.

Rao, who has more than 20 years of experience, specialises in IP laws and advises clients on issues including prosecution and enforcement of trademarks, copyright, geographical indication (GI), and design. Her clients include Fortune 500 companies both internationally and in India.

The other partner of Priya Rao & Associates is R. Rajalakshmi, an IP law expert who handles both contentious and non-contentious trademark, copyright, and GI matters.
