Watson Farley & Williams has hired four hospitality lawyers from Withers, including partners Lada Shelkovnikova and Robert Williams. Williams and two other lawyers will be based in Sydney, while Shelkovnikova joins in Singapore.

Shelkovnikova, who joined Withers KhattarWong in October 2016 from Al Tamimi & Company in the UAE, has also worked for DLA Piper and Arzinger Law Office. She has expertise in hotel M&A and operator appointments, branded residence arrangements and serviced apartments in Asia.

Williams joins as Watson Farley opens its Sydney office. Joining Williams from Withers in Sydney are consultant Chris Greiner and special counsel Kate Switajewski. Williams and Greiner joined Withers in March 2016 from Australian law firm Ryan Lawyers.
