King & Wood Mallesons and Baker McKenzie have advised SF Real Estate Investment Trust (SF REIT), a unit of Chinese logistics giant SF Holding, on its $335 million listing in Hong Kong.
This is believed to be the largest REIT or business trust IPO in Hong Kong since 2014, and the city’s first logistics-focused REIT.
Hogan Lovells acted as counsel for the bookrunners DBS, Credit Suisse and J.P. Morgan, while Harneys provided offshore law advice to the issuer.
The REIT’s initial portfolio comprises three logistics properties in Hong Kong, Foshan and Wuhu.
The KWM team included Guangzhou partners Sun Haotian, Yang Xiaoquan and Qiu Liang; Beijing partner Chen Hua, and Hong Kong partners Jessica Zhou and Chow Siu Ngor.
The Baker McKenzie team included partners Jeremy Ong, Ivy Wong, Dorothea Koo, Grace Fung, Debbie Cheung and Simon Leung.
The Hogan Lovells team included Hong Kong partner Sammy Li and New York partner Sina Hekmat, while the Harneys team was led by partner Raymond Ng.
