Nand Gopal Anand, partner, J Sagar Associates

India’s J Sagar Associates (JSA) has strengthened its banking and finance practice with the additions of Nand Gopal Anand and Pratish Kumar from Juris Corp.

The duo join JSA only days after the firm roped in Ipsita Chowdhury as a partner in Gurugram from Trilegal.

Anand, who joins JSA’s Gurugram office, has 15 years of experience focusing on handling various financing transactions involving Indian and foreign banks and financial institutions. Prior to joining Juris Corp, he worked at Khaitan & Co.

Meanwhile, Kumar rejoins JSA’s Mumbai office, where he initially worked from 2012 to 2017. His practice includes domestic and cross border corporate lending, trade finance transactions and securitisation transactions.
