Andersen Gobal, the legal and tax advisory network born out of the ashes of the now-defunct Arthur Andersen, has added Kwok Yih & Chan (KYC) in Hong Kong and Malaysia’s Halim Hong & Quek Advocates & Solicitors (HHQ) as members.
KYC, which was initially founded in 1994 under the name of Kwok & Yih, was rebranded in 2014 as Kwok Yih & Chan. The firm advises on matters including M&A, capital markets, corporate and commercial and dispute resolution, and currently has nine partners.
HHQ, which was founded in 2000, focuses on alternative dispute resolution, banking and finance, corporate and M&A, energy and infrastructure, litigation, real estate and construction. Besides Kuala Lumpur, HHQ also has offices in Johor and Penang.
With the addition of these two firms, Andersen Global now has independent law firms in more than 300 locations worldwide.
