The eighth edition of the ALB Indonesia Law Awards, a virtual event held on Oct. 7, showcased the work of the finest lawyers, law firms, in-house teams, and legal work in the country.

Assegaf Hamzah & Partners claimed nine awards including Dispute Resolution Lawyer of the Year for Eri Hertiawan, Managing Partner of the Year for Bono Daru Adji, Indonesia Deal Firm of the Year, and Litigation Law Firm of the Year.

Meanwhile, HHP Law Firm won six titles, which included Dealmaker of the Year for Erwandi Hendarta, Arbitration Law Firm of the Year and the coveted Indonesia Law Firm of the Year.

The International Law Firm of the Year award went to Milbank, while H&A Partners was awarded Rising Law Firm of the Year. Meanwhile, KarimSyah Law Firm and Adnan Kelana Haryanto & Hermanto were the winners of Dispute Resolution Boutique Law Firm of the Year and Transactional Boutique Law Firm of the Year, respectively.

In the individual categories, SSEK Legal Consultants’ Dewi Savitri Reni earned the title of Woman Lawyer of the Year, while the award for Young Lawyer of the Year went to Rizaldy Tauhid of Oentoeng Suria & Partners.

In the in-house categories, GoJek landed five awards including In-House Lawyer of the Yearfor Pablo Malay, Indonesia In-House Team of the Year, and Innovative In-House Team of the Year.
