Singapore boutique PDLegal has hired disputes expert Cathryn Neo as a partner in the firm’s international arbitration and China practices from Ashurst ADTLaw, where she was a senior associate.

Neo focuses on international arbitration, insolvency and restructuring, and mediation in the financial, energy and construction sectors. She also assists clients in managing cross-border litigation before Australian, Brunei and Indonesian courts.

Prior to joining Ashurst in 2018, Neo was an associate with arbitrator Michael Hwang SC.

With the addition of Neo, PDLegal now has eight partners.

Global law firm Morrison Foerster has announced that private equity veteran Scott Jalowayski will rejoin the firm as a partner in Singapore. Jalowayski most recently co-chaired the global private equity group at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
