SCL Nishimura & Asahi, the Thai office of Japan’s largest law firm, has hired veteran lawyer Punjaporn Kosolkitiwong in Bangkok as the head of its litigation department from Dej-Udom & Associates.

Punjaporn has almost 40 years of experience in litigation, and previously headed the litigation department of Dej-Udom. She handle arbitrations, civil and criminal cases, tax-related issues, intellectual property and international trade cases in both the Bangkok and provincial courts.

Nishimura acquired Thailand’s SCL Group in 2019 to solidify its presence in the Southeast Asian country. The Bangkok office now has more than 100 lawyers and professional staff, including 10 partners.
