India’s Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co has hired experience disputes lawyer Shally Bhasin as partner in New Delhi from Agarwal Law Associates.

Bhasin has more than 26 years of experience, having handled matters such as financial services, bankruptcy, infrastructure litigation, environment litigation, white collar crime, telecom, tender related litigation, claims for breach of contract, damages, and taxation related litigation.

Bhasin represents clients in the Supreme Court of India, High Courts of Delhi, Kolkata, Orissa, Mumbai, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Allahabad, Chennai and Goa and in several specialized tribunals like TDSAT, NCLAT, NCLT and NGT. She was at Agarwal Law Associates for more than 11 years.

With Bhasin’s hire, SAM currently has 140 partners across its India offices.
