PRC law firm JunHe has hired disputes expert Philip Kwok as a partner in Hong Kong from LC Lawyers, the EY network’s member law firm in the city.

Kwok advises on commercial litigation and arbitration, regulatory investigations, cybersecurity and data protection, financial technology compliance, electronic data preservation and retention, and internet and e-commerce businesses. He represents Chinese and global companies in the Internet, real estate, securities, funds, pharmaceuticals, food, apparel, telecommunications equipment, banking, and manufacturing sectors.

Kwok joined LC Lawyers in 2018 from Dechert, and prior to that firm, he worked at the U.S. law firm Winston & Strawn. His addition takes the number of partners in JunHe’s Hong Kong office to 16.
