Latham & Watkins, YKVN, and Rajah & Tann Singapore have advised Vietnamese EV maker VinFast on its planned IPO on the Nasdaq, with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and Vilaf representing the underwriters.

If successful, this will be the first IPO by a Vietnamese company on Nasdaq. Reuters reported that VinFast, which began operations in 2019, is gearing up to expand in the U.S. market, where it hopes to compete with legacy automakers and startups with its two all-electric SUVs.

The underwriters are Citigroup Global Markets, Morgan Stanley & Co, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) and J.P. Morgan Securities.
