Indian law firm Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) has hired dispute resolution expert Abhileen Chaturvedi as a partner in its Mumbai office from Economic Law Practice (ELP).

Chaturvedi becomes CAM’s third lateral partner hire in Mumbai since December. The firm recently added real estate experts Siddharth Hariani and Rishiraj Prasad Bhatt from Phoenix Legal and Kanga & Co, respectively.

With more than 12 years of experience, Chaturvedi represents companies before judicial forums and arbitral tribunals. He has also advised clients in commercial and white-collar criminal litigation, and bankruptcy proceedings.

Chaturvedi was with ELP for more than six years, becoming a partner in May last year. He started his career with Paras Kuhad & Associates in 2009 in Mumbai.

With Chaturvedi’s hire, CAM now has 65 partners in Mumbai.
