Vietnamese law firm Indochine Counsel has hired M&A expert Truong Huu Ngu as a partner in Ho Chi Minh City from Japan’s Nishimura & Asahi (N&A), where he was a counsel.

With more than 14 years of experience, Truong advises clients in sectors such as banking, real estate, energy, and pharmaceuticals on cross-border M&A, project finance and capital markets transactions.

Truong worked at N&A, Japan’s largest law firm, in its Ho Chi Minh City and Tokyo offices for nearly nine years in total. He started his career at Vietnamese firm LOGOS Law.

With this addition, Indochine Counsel now has six partners in Ho Chi Minh City.
