Singapore law firm RHTLaw Asia has welcomed back real estate specialist Yeong Wai Cheong as a partner from Drew & Napier.

With more than two decades of experience, Yeong advises Singapore-listed companies and banks, purchasers and vendors, developers, landlords and tenants on domestic and cross-border financing and real estate matters with special focus on banking, finance and property law.

Yeong joined Drew & Napier in 2013. Prior to that, he was head of the finance & real estate practice at RHTLaw, moving there in 2011 following the split from KhattarWong. He earlier worked in in-house roles at Rabobank and Calyon.

His arrival has taken the number of partners at RHTLaw to 18. They include disputes partner Anil Changaroth, who merged his eponymous boutique with RHT earlier this year.
