Beijing-based Yingke Law Firm has launched its first independent Southeast Asian office in Thailand, which will be led by partner Wang Qianqian.

Between 2017 and 2021, Yingke had a presence in Thailand through a cooperation agreement with DFDL, a law firm serving South and Southeast Asia. DFDL joined the Yingke Global Legal Service Alliance to assist Yingke with clients’ legal needs in the region.

In early 2022, Yingke established the Yingke ASEAN Centre to provide comprehensive and one-stop commercial legal services for mutual investments and trade activities between China and ASEAN countries. The new Thailand office is set to support this centre.
