Swiss-Korean firm Peter & Kim, which specialises in international arbitration, has broadened its presence in Europe with a new office in Zurich. The office is its second in Europe, to go with its headquarters in Geneva.

Partner Flavio Peter will relocate from Geneva to helm the Zurich office. Peter is a Swiss national specialising in international and domestic arbitration and related litigation proceedings. His Zurich team also includes senior associate Rodica Turtoi and associate Clio Mordivoglia.

The boutique has also added international arbitration specialist Arie Eernisse to its Seoul office. Eernisse joined in October as a senior foreign attorney after spending over nine years at the Korean Big Six firm Shin & Kim. He specialises in disputes related to construction and engineering, insurance, and intellectual property.

Established in 2020, Peter & Kim now has five offices, with the others being in Singapore and Sydney. The firm has 44 lawyers in total, including 14 partners.

Global law firm Morrison Foerster has announced that private equity veteran Scott Jalowayski will rejoin the firm as a partner in Singapore. Jalowayski most recently co-chaired the global private equity group at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
