South Korean law firm Lin has hired Lance Lee, former COO and disputes practice head at Dentons Lee, to head its international arbitration practice in Seoul.

Lee, who joins Lin on Dec. 7, has extensive experience in litigation and arbitration, including cross-border disputes and government investigations. He previously has been a partner at Kim & Chang and group general counsel at STX Corporation.

Lee’s clients have included Hanwha Group, Hyundai Motors, KIA Motors, STX Shipbuilding, POSCO Group, Aker Yards and KEXIM Bank.

Bakers McKenzie and KL Partners’ South Korean JV, Yoon & Yang, and Watson Farley & Williams have all added to their disputes capabilities in South Korea this year.
