South Korean Big Six firm Shin & Kim and Jakarta-based law firm ARMA Law have entered into a non-exclusive alliance, which is expected to complement the former’s existing Indonesia desk.

The new alliance in Indonesia comes as Shin & Kim continues to expand its Asian presence. In April, the firm established an office in Singapore, and also has outposts in Beijing, Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi. The Jakarta desk was established in 2019.

For ARMA, this is its first international alliance. “This collaboration marks a significant step towards bridging global needs and local perspectives, enhancing market access, enabling the firms to explore new opportunities and expand our footprint.,” the firm said in a statement.
