Mark Mangan, formerly the head of international arbitration for Asia at Dechert, has left the firm to join New Zealand disputes boutique Lindsay & Francis. The firm will henceforth be called Lindsay Francis & Mangan.

The Singapore-based Mangan is an arbitration expert with two decades of experience. At Dechert, which he joined in 2015 after a decade at Freshfields, Mangan led the disputes team advising clients in the oil and gas, finance, telecommunications, food and beverage, and sports sectors on commercial, construction, sports law and investment treaty disputes.

Apart from Singapore, Lindsay Francis & Mangan also has an office in Auckland. Its other partners are Timothy Lindsay, also a former Dechert partner, and Kim Francis, who had a brief stint at Dechert in 2010.
