Singapore law firm RHTLaw Asia has bolstered its corporate and capital markets capabilities with the addition of partner Parikhit Sarma from Stephenson Harwood’s local alliance firm, Virtus Law.

Sarma specialises in providing strategic counsel on complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, banking and finance, and regulatory compliance across the Asian region. Sarma also has experience in advising companies on listing, fundraising, and delisting in the Singapore market.

His clientele is primarily composed of multinational corporations, including both private and listed entities, as well as investment funds, RHTLAw said in a statement.

Sarma joined Virtus as a partner in 2018 from Morgan Lewis Stamford, where he was deputy leader of the firm’s India practice. He was previously at Duane Morris & Selvam.
