Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has added a third partner in July, with Trilegal counsel Pooranimaa Hariharan joining the firm’s corporate practice in Bengaluru.

Hariharan has over 12 years of experience in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and entity formation and governance, as well as business structuring and restructuring.

She had been a counsel at Trilegal since 2021, prior to which she had stints at J. Sagar Associates, the erstwhile Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co, and JurisCorp.

Hariharan becomes the third known counsel at Trilegal to look for fresh pastures this year, following Ruchit Parikh and Anurag Shrivastav, who left to join the partnerships at AZB & Partners and J. Sagar Associates, respectively.

On the other hand, CAM has had a busy July, with banking partner Pranav Sharma joining in Mumbai – also from Trilegal – and corporate partner Himanshu Chahar joining the firm’s newly-founded Abu Dhabi office last week.
