Indonesian law firm AVYA Law has announced the appointment of Ryand Armilis as a new partner to lead its construction and infrastructure practice group.

Armilis brings over a decade of experience in the legal sector, including a background in human rights and legal aid before transitioning to private practice. With experience consulting for some of Indonesia’s biggest construction companies, he founded ANSA Law in 2021, which has now merged with AVYA.

Armilis' previous roles include positions at Arpan Law and as in-house counsel for Catur Bangun Mandiri Perkasa.

“As a trusted advisor to one of Indonesia’s largest healthcare groups, Ryand brings valuable experience that will greatly benefit both our clients and our team,” said a spokesperson for AVYA Law.

The appointment marks AVYA's second partner addition this year, following the earlier hire of Dessy Tampi.

Founded in 2018, AVYA Law now has five partners. It has been expanding its expertise in various sectors including construction, oil and gas, mining, healthcare, and agribusiness.
