Indonesian law firm AZP Legal Consultants has announced the hiring of R Muharam Perbawamukti (Endi), a veteran with over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, as a partner.

Endi, who most recently served as chief human capital officer at Indonesia's largest cellular telecommunications company, brings extensive knowledge of telecommunication transactions, compliance, and regulatory requirements to AZP.

During his tenure at the telecom giant, Endi held key positions, including vice president of regulatory management and vice president corporate counsel. In 2019, he was awarded the Satyalancana Pembangunan by the Indonesian government for his services to the nation.

This strategic hire is expected to bolster AZP's capabilities in the telecommunications sector, an increasingly important area in Indonesia's rapidly growing digital economy.

“Endi's presence can further enrich the scope of legal services at AZP. His appointment demonstrates our commitment to providing the best legal services in line with our motto: Deeper Understanding Better Solutions,” said Arief Budiman, AZP's managing partner, in a statement.

Established in 2004, the Jakarta-headquartered AZP Legal Consultants has 19 professionals, including 9 partners. The firm specialises in various practice areas, including corporate and commercial law, capital markets, banking and finance, litigation, and intellectual property. It also has associated offices in Cairo and London.
