Indian law firm AZB & Partners has strengthened its real estate practice with the addition of Dhruti Dholakia as partner in its Mumbai office. She joins from Macrotech Developers, where she was president legal.

Dholakia brings nearly 30 years of experience in the real estate sector, and her expertise encompasses providing strategic and advisory support, negotiating deals, and handling land acquisitions, due diligence, financing, corporate documentation, and litigation related to real estate matters.

"We are excited to have Dhruti join us as a senior member of our real estate team. She brings with her extensive experience from her various roles in the past that will help strengthen our existing practice area to further evolve the offerings to our clients," said Zia Mody, AZB’s co-founder and managing partner, in a statement. 

Dholakia is AZB’s first partner hire in 2025.
