Delhi-headquartered law firm Chandhiok & Mahajan has opened an office in the southern city of Hyderabad, its fourth nationwide.

The new office will be headed by competition and disputes partner Avinash Amarnath, who is relocating from Bengaluru.

In a release, the firm said that it had been previously servicing clients based in the southern state of Telangana from its Delhi and Bengaluru offices. “The opening of the Hyderabad office is in response to our clients requesting us to be closer to them both on transactions and litigation,” it added.

Founded in 2013, the nine-partner Chandhiok & Mahajan also has an office in Mumbai.
