Japanese Big Five firm TMI Associates is set to open an office in Paris. This will be its second in Europe, after London, and its third outside Asia.

In the past week, a number of Japanese firms have announced overseas expansion plans. Mori Hamada & Matsumoto revealed that it plans to open an office in New York this autumn, while Miura & Partners announced that it would significantly expand its presence overseas with new offices set to open in Jakarta, London and San Francisco.

TMI currently has six offices in Japan, eight offices in other Asian countries, one in Europe (London) and one in North America (San Mateo, California).
