Global law firm White & Case will no longer have an on-the-ground presence in Indonesia after calling time on its association with Indonesia's Witara Cakra Advocates (WCA).

The partnership, which began in 2015, is set to conclude on May 1 this year. White & Case was earlier in an association with MD & Partners.

In a statement, White & Case said it was committed to supporting its clients in Indonesia, primarily from its Singapore office, adding that it continues to advise on cross-border Indonesia-related matters, including corporate, finance, projects, restructurings, disputes, and international trade. “White & Case is committed to the important Indonesian market, where we have been active for more than 40 years,” the statement said.

WCA is currently led by partners Kristo Molina and Cindy Riswantyo, who joined in 2023 from Ginting & Reksodiputro

In February last year, WCA debt financing partner Fajar Ramadhan left to co-found ALTA Advocates, and more recently, counsel Rika Rusman transitioned to boutique firm Sarvasuksma.
