Rajah & Tann Asia, the legal network led by Singapore’s Rajah & Tann, has released a platform that enables clients to remotely generate and digitally sign contracts from any device in real-time.

ReadyDocs is a law-as-a-service (LaaS) platform that is expected to enable Rajah & Tann’s clients to work on time-critical contracts as soon as the need arises. As part of the system, the platform will generate entire suites of contracts built as easy-to-follow workflows or even automate existing contracts and processes.

Powered by tech startup Zegal, ReadyDocs aims to enable clients to generate commercial contracts, or entire suites of contracts built as easy-to-follow workflows, and also automate existing contracts and processes. It will be available in Singapore first before being rolled out to the other jurisdictions where the network has a presence.

In May, Rajah & Tann Asia, along with international firms Cooley and CMS, announced that they had launched Lupl, a collaboration platform connecting lawyers in more than 100 jurisdictions that has been billed as the world’s first open platform for legal matters.
