The Hong Kong District Court has set aside an anonymity order granted to a woman who had accused Stefano Mariani, a former partner and head of tax at Deacons, of sexual harassment.

Global law firm Baker McKenzie has terminated the services of former counsel Stefano Mariani, who has been accused of sexual misconduct by a former junior colleague at law firm Deacons, where Mariani was previously a partner and head of tax.

Stefano Mariani, most recently the head of the tax and trusts practice at Hong Kong law firm Deacons, has joined Baker McKenzie as a counsel.
