Singapore has announced that Justice Steven Chong Horng Siong, currently a High Court judge, will become the country’s newest attorney-general (AG) from June 25, with the present AG, Sundaresh Menon, becoming a Judge of Appeal of the High Court from Aug.1, according to the Straits Times. Additionally, Vinodh Coomaraswamy SC, a partner at Shook Lin & Bok, has been appointed as a judicial commissioner, with his term also commencing from Aug.1.
