Shearman & Sterling has lost yet another partner in Hong Kong after corporate specialist Stephanie Tang moved to Hogan Lovells.

Tang’s departure follows that of a four-member Hong Kong capital markets team, led by partner Colin Law, and M&A partner Ken Lebrun in October last year. They moved to Fangda Partners and Davis Polk & Wardwell, respectively.

Tang’s practice areas include M&A (both public and private), private equity, and capital markets. She advises Chinese companies on their outbound investments and international companies on their investments in the Asia-Pacific region. At Shearman, Tang managed 23 take-private transactions of U.S.-listed Chinese companies, and also represented Chinese PE funds.

Prior to working with Shearman, Tang worked with Kirkland & Ellis.
