India’s J Sagar Associates (JSA) has welcomed back real estate and M&A specialist Karthik BM, who joins the firm as a partner in Bengaluru from IndusLaw.
This is the JSA’s second partner hire in less than a month following the addition of Niruphama Ramakrishnan. Meanwhile, IndusLaw announced it was hiring a real estate partner in Hyderabad.

J. Sagar Associates has advised Interglobe Enterprises on a 2 percent divesture in low-cost Indian airline IndiGo for 33.6 billion rupees ($401 million). Citigroup, which bought IndiGo shares worth 13.6 billion rupees via the open market, was advised by IndusLaw and A&O Shearman.
