HWL Ebsworth has again added a former top tier partner to its new Canberra office.  Angela Summersby joins the firm from Blake Dawson (Ashurst as of yesterday) where she was a partner.

Summersby advises on commercial law with a particular focus on Australian Government contracting, information and communications technology contracts, privacy and intellectual property. She has specialised in Australian Government work in Canberra for almost 20 years and has worked on many of the Commonwealth's most significant projects and programs. She was the principal author of the Australian Government's ‘A guide to limiting supplier liability in ICT contracts with Australian Government agencies’.

“Angela's arrival further reinforces our Canberra team, which is already recognised for providing market leading services to government and non-government clients in a diverse range of areas," said Juan Martinez, managing partner of HWL Ebsworth. "Angela joins us at a time when the provision of legal services to the Australian Government is being revolutionised. We are excited about the opportunities presented by the establishment of the Australian Government's Legal Services Multi-Use List, and we look forward to continuing to offer the Australian Government the high quality of service and value that we are renowned for in the market.”
