Indian law firm IndusLaw has hired Shabbeer Ahmed as a partner in Hyderabad from Kochhar & Co, the former’s fourth lateral partner this year.

Earlier, IndusLaw hired partners Mayank Mishra from J Sagar Associates, Manish Gupta from Link Legal and Rashi Saraf from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.

Ahmed, who specialises in civil and commercial litigation, has represented clients in sectors such as finance, infrastructure and real estate.

Prior to joining Kochhar, Ahmed was with Fox Mandal. He also had a stint at the erstwhile Amarchand Mangaldas Suresh A. Shroff & Co

Following the hire of Ahmed, IndusLaw now has 45 partners, including three partners in Hyderabad
