Mumbai-based boutique White and Brief has hired Manu Varghese as partner and head of its general and corporate practice from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, where he spent more than 13 years.

Varghese focuses on mergers and acquisitions, finance, private equity, joint ventures, e-commerce, manufacturing, renewable energy and information technology advising conglomerates, and multinational companies.

White and Brief was founded in 2018 by Nilesh Tribhuvann as a dispute-focused firm. However, the firm is now looking to go full-service, after hiring Varghese, as well as capital markets expert Prashaant Vikram Rajput, who joined from Link Legal India Law Services.
