appointmentsU.S. law firm Reed Smith has expanded its international arbitration practice in Singapore with the hire of a three-member team from Stephenson Harwood, including partner Timothy Cooke.

Cooke represents clients in international arbitrations related to the energy, infrastructure and projects, and construction and engineering sectors.

He joined Stephenson Harwood in June 2017, after spending five years at Morgan Lewis Stamford. He was earlier a legal director at Clyde & Co., and a partner at Baker McKenzie.

Cooke’s exit from Stephenson Harwood comes at a time when the firm has lost multiple partners in Hong Kong, including Ian Devereux and Silvia On to Charles Russell Speechlys, Richard Wilmot to Tanner De Witt and Marco Pocci to MB Kemp.
