newsIndia’s Saraf & Partners has hired real estate experts Sachit Mathur (L), Ajay Bhadu, and Astha Singh Trehan in Delhi, and banking and finance specialist Sagar Manju in Mumbai. All join as partners.

Mathur and Trehan were earlier at Emerald Law Office, which was set up by the former after he left L&L Partners. Bhadu was formerly an associate partner at Desai & Diwanji, while Manju was most recently at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas.  

Following the hire of the quartet, Saraf & Partners now has 26 partners in three cities.

Global law firm Morrison Foerster has announced that private equity veteran Scott Jalowayski will rejoin the firm as a partner in Singapore. Jalowayski most recently co-chaired the global private equity group at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
