Singapore law firm Covenant Chambers has appointed construction and engineering disputes expert Edwin Sim as a director.

With over 25 years of experience in dispute resolution, he joins from Lexton Law Corporation, which he co-founded in 2004.

Sim has represented listed companies in multi-million-dollar litigations and arbitrations. He has also handled complex commercial and trust disputes, including a recent High Court case involving claims exceeding $20 million.

Sim serves as a senior advocacy trainer with the Law Society of Singapore and is an accredited mediator with the Singapore International Mediation Institute. He is also appointed to the panel of the Law Society Mediation Scheme.

"Edwin's appointment reaffirms our commitment to providing excellent legal services," the firm said in a statement. “His extensive experience will undoubtedly strengthen our firm's capabilities.”

Founded in 2016, Covenant Chambers now has seven directors.
