Thomson Reuters announced on March 30 that it has acquired LawnB, a South Korean online legal information and education provider.

Paul Hastings has advised Far East Horizon, a financial leasing subsidiary of Chinese state-owned Sinochem Group, on the sale of its new shares worth $371 million. The financial service provider is looking to use the capital raised to fuel its growth ambitions.

Latham & Watkins has advised coal provider Kinetic Mines and Energy Ltd (Kinetic) on its listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and its subsequent initial public offering of 930 million shares. The offering, which closed on March 23, raised HK$1.1 billion ($141.6 million).
