Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and Jia Yuan Law Offices are advising Chinese home appliance maker Midea Group on its HK$26.97 billion ($3.46 billion) share offering in Hong Kong, the city's largest listing in more than three years.

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and King & Wood Mallesons are representing the joint sponsors and underwriters on the offering.

According to Reuters, the offering by the Shenzhen-listed Midea would be the biggest in Hong Kong since JD Logistics raised $3.16 billion in May 2021. The deal eclipses Hong Kong's most recent biggest deal, by Chinese lithium battery maker CALB, which raised $1.3 billion in October 2022.

The joint sponsors and underwriters include China International Capital Corporation, Merrill Lynch, UBS, CLSA, and Goldman Sachs.
