A leading investment bank, our client is now actively recruiting a Legal Counsel to work closely with business units, by rendering legal and regulatory advice and assistance on all business matters. Applicants will need to be thoroughly familiar with laws and regulations applicable to financial institutions in Singapore and should possess a strong understanding of banking, finance, corporate or commercial matters. Singapore Bar qualifications are essential.

Successful candidates will possess:

• Singapore Bar qualifications and at least 4PQE, gained with the banking, capital markets or corporate practice of a law firm or in-house in the financial industry.
• Familiarity with the laws and regulations applicable to banks/ the financial industry.
• A strong understanding of banking, finance, corporate and commercial matters.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and be efficient and hardworking.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
