This is a leading global law firm whose derivatives and structured finance practice (DSF) is recognized for delivering innovative solutions that are commercially aware of latest market developments.

We are looking for a junior-mid level associate to join the Derivatives and Structured Finance (DSF) practice in Hong Kong.

This role will involve a high degree of client interaction and a range of both transactional and advisory cross border work involving multiple product wrappers (for both retail and institutional investors) and asset classes.

The successful candidate must have strong experience in derivatives and structured finance work, gained at a leading law firm (2-5 years PQE). You must be admitted to England & Wales/Hong Kong/Australia.

You will need to demonstrate solid transactional experience and good interpersonal skills as well as experience in funded and unfunded credit and equity derivatives transactional work, and advisory work. You must be versatile and willing to learn.Regulatory knowledge and fluency in Mandarin would be valuable, but these are not pre-requisites.
