Our client is a global US law firm with a strong network of offices across Asia.  It has a highly regarded corporate practice, with an impressive list of blue chip clients including many of the major investment banks and MNC’s.  In both Shanghai and Beijing it is known for its strong M&A and FDI practice. 

Due to considerable referral work arising from its network of US offices our client has identified a need for a corporate partner to focus on complicated FDI matters.  The successful candidate is likely to be a junior partner, or Counsel, with another international firm, or a leading Chinese law firm.  You will have expertise in the areas of both FDI and M&A (given many of the FDI transactions involve complex M&A matters).  You will be qualified in the PRC and in the US or UK and you will speak native level Mandarin and Shanghainese.  A book of business is not required, given that our client already has a large volume of work available.
