The Firm
Leading international firm with offices in Europe, Middle East and Asia requires a partner for their office in Singapore. This market leading UK law practice has Asian offices in both Hong Kong and PRC and has seen solid office expansion and increasing deal flow across the Asian region.
The offices have a multi-disciplinary group of lawyers with specialist know how covering sectors such as commercial/transactional, regulatory, corporate/M&A, IPOs, commercial litigation and international arbitration.
The partnership will consider individuals with a strong and pre-existing practice in commercial litigation and/or international arbitration (under the major institutional and procedural rules, such as SIAC, ICC, LCIA, LMAA, SCC, HKIAC, and UNCITRAL.
Key Candidate Requirements
- Established partner/ senior lawyer with a reputation in the region more important than a portable practice.
- Client following preferred
- A willingness to grow the business in APAC
- Specialist knowledge of Asian litigation/arbitration market
- Prior experience living and working in Asia necessary
- Preference is for a partner already based in Asia
